An economy 2 door car is included in your package subject to the purchase of the protection package known as a Fully Inclusive rate as per details below. You will be automatically invoiced for an upgrade to a mid or full sized car if there are 3 or 4 people travelling together. The above rates are for Florida only. Car rentals are based on 24-hour periods. The Upgrade price listed is the price you would pay to upgrade your free 2 door Economy Car for the week. If you have extended your holiday and would like to extend your car hire you would pay the price listed on the extra week column. You cannot extend your car in a category other than what you have already rented. If you extend your car rental for less than 4 days a lower rate will be provided on request. A weekly rate applies for cars rented for 4 to 7 days. All cars have Automatic Transmission, Air-conditioning, Radio, Power Steering and Power Brakes. All of the above information is correct at time of printing but may be subject to change.
The following are payable in the USA directly to the car rental company:
Gas: The car is rented to you with a full tank of gas and must be returned with a full tank of gas to avoid incurring any charges.
Minimum Age: Drivers must be at least 21 years of age. Renters who are 21-24 years will be charged a surcharge of $25 per day. Other restrictions apply.
Additional Drivers: $10 per day per additional driver. Must be at least 21 years old with valid driving licence.
Deposit: Must leave cash/credit card as security deposit in addition to pre-paying all anticipated charges incidental to the rental.
Mileage: Unlimited
Child Seats: approximately $10 per day. Mandatory for children under 4 yrs.
GPS Rental: approximately $10 per day.
Licence: Regular U.S., Canadian, U.K. & European Licences are valid for driving in America. Other countries may require an International Driving License, please check with your local authority.
The Fully Inclusive Rate for which you will be invoiced, consists of the following necessary insurance's and taxes per car:
CDW or Collision Damage Waiver: at $17.99 per day, is a protection designed to enable the customer to free themselves of any concern or responsibility for collision accident or damage done to the car regardless of who caused the accident, provided the terms of the rental agreement have not been violated. CDW is a standard coverage including loss caused by fire, vandalism, rock damage, water damage and acts of God.
Extended Protection Third party Liability: basic liability insurance with a state minimum required by law, which is $10,000 per person or $20,000 per accident is included but this only covers the rental car not the renter. However, Extended Protection at $12.99 per day provides up to US $1 million for claims made against the driver for third party injury, death or property damage and an additional US $1 million coverage for accidental death or injury to the authorized renter or passenger should they be hit by an uninsured or under-insured driver.
Taxes: Florida 6% plus $2.05 per day State Highway tax + .43c per day licence recoupment fee.
Airport Imposed Fee: Orlando 10%
High Season Surcharge: £30 per car per week
